Description

We have modified our industrial thermometer and optimally adapted it to the requirements of heating and air-conditioning applications. In this way we combine an absolutely reliable measuring instrument with an unbeatable price-performance ratio. Two different casing designs and three different casing sizes are available especially for heating and air-conditioning applications.

Casing

Nominal size 110, 150 or 200 mm, plastic top part of the casing made of polyamide PA6, fully coloured in black. The numbers of the display range are permanently printed on the right-hand side of the scale. Connection of casing and immersion tube by grooved pin and locking screw. Advantage: No turning of the casing required during assembly. The maximum permissible ambient temperature at the housing is 160 °C.

Glass insert (capillary)

Prismatic capillary in rod form made of solid glass, approx. 8 mm Ø, and white background with blue liquid filling. The graduation of the capillary is burnt in black and therefore absolutely durable. Main graduation marks, which correspond to the numbers printed on the casing, are particularly strong and distinctive.

Thermometric filling

In the standard version of up to 200 °C blue thermometric liquid ("Fü").

Immersion tube

Made of brass as a standard, type B with connection thread G½. The diameter of this immersion tube is 10 mm, with a wall thickness of 1 mm. Available in stainless steel on request.

Scale graduation values and error limits

SIKA industrial thermometers meet the requirements of DIN 16195 "Requirements and testing of industrial glass thermometers". Scale graduation values and error limits are defined depending on the casing size and the measuring range. A typical 291 HBZ thermometer for heating applications with a display range of 0...120 °C, for example, has a scale interval of 2 °C and an error limit of 1 °C.
